RACHEL E. LOOTENS, O.D.

Dr. Rachel Lootens is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and the University of Houston, College of Optometry. She is an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.

Dr. Lootens is passionate about overall patient wellness, combining her background in nutrition and fitness to support healthy lifestyle habits that benefit both vision and overall health. Her clinical interests include dry eye disease, specialty contact lenses, and pediatric eye care. She is also an InfantSEE® provider.

Born and raised in Houston, Dr. Lootens lives in the city with her fiancé and their dog. She enjoys baking, being with family, spending time outdoors, and singing with the Houston Symphony Chorus.
